The content on glowupdiary.app, including our guides, and the Glow Up Diary app are for general information and personal tracking only. They are not medical advice, and they are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified health professional.

Talk to a professional

Always ask a doctor, dermatologist, registered dietitian or other qualified professional about a medical condition, a skin problem, changes to your diet or exercise, or before starting any program. Never ignore professional advice, or delay getting it, because of something you read here.

If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Your body, your pace

Bodies change at different speeds for many reasons, including genetics, health conditions, medications, hormones and life circumstances. Examples and timelines in our guides are general, not a promise of what will happen for you.

If tracking feels bad

Progress photos and weight tracking should help, not hurt. If tracking your body makes you anxious, or you’re struggling with food, eating or how you see yourself, take a break from tracking and talk to a doctor or an eating-disorder support service in your country.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep our guides accurate and up to date (see our editorial policy), but health information changes and we can’t guarantee that every detail is complete or current. Use of our content and app is at your own risk.
